Initially I thought it's a bit of a cop out that it isn't back projected so it would work more like a normal touch screen. On reflection though, having the image appear on the back of your hand while you press on the screen means the thing you are working on isn't obscured... makes a lot of sense!

Hi Ahmed, thank you for the links. It looks really interesting and as it seems we are working on the same issue. I tried to download the pdf to learn more about your work but it always referred me to an account login. Unfortunately the youtube movie couldn't be found, too. Could you send me some other links or entries to this information maybe? It would be great to talk it over with you and your collaborateur as we are trying to progress the Digital Volvelles to an improved 2.0 version. I still strongly believe, that the wheel would be a much better navigation and retrieval tool than any former file in file system. Specially now with the warp progress in interface technology.

Very interesting. I have also used the concept of the wheel in my work on digital tabletops. It will be useful to combine both ideas. Check my paper "Attribute Gates" http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1449715.1449726 . Someone has put the conference paper on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQrVDtt_8xs.

[...] I have used it to develop the multi-touch parts of a TUIO-driven Flash multi-touch application. The SMK-15.4 comes with drivers for Windows and for the Macintosh. Additionally, for Windows there is a small application available that tranlates Stantum multi-touch events into TUIO events that can be (more or less easily) processed by a Flash Actionscript application.
I use my Wiimote to play video games on my Mac I downloaded a file from the internet.
It works great with just about any online games I use it with an NES emulator and an Atari Emulator just fine but the keys are very programmable Im pretty sure it can be used with any games that work with a keyboard interface.
